The Maryland State Bar Association Family and Juvenile Law Section members have re-elected Ronald B. Bergman to a second three-year term on the Section Council. The Council is comprised of prominent family law practitioners and judges from around the State.

Ron Bergman has been part of the Houlon Berman team for more than 30 years. He has successfully recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients and recently secured a settlement valued over $2.5 million. Ron's practice primarily involves complex litigation in the areas of negligence, domestic relations, criminal and commercial law. He represents clients in the state and Federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Ron was recently elected to a three-year term of the Maryland State Bar Association Family and Juvenile Law Council and is a regular lecturer on family law and professionalism topics. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and earned his Juris Doctor from George Washington University. He is a member of the American and Maryland Trial Lawyers Associations. His family's naturalist and adventure interests have taken them to unusual parts of the globe.
