One of the founding fathers of Houlon Berman, Sandy Berman has been practicing law for more than 36 years. His areas of focus are family law, criminal, traffic, civil matters and general litigation. Sandy is a Washington-native who attended the University of Maryland and earned his Juris Doctor from the American University. He is a member of the Family Law Bar Association, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, Association of Plaintiff's Trial Attorneys and the Commercial Law League of America. Sandy is also a frequent lecturer for the Maryland State Bar Association. Married for more than 33-years, Sandy has two grown sons---one who is an international law attorney, the other a prominent New York advertising executive. Sandy is an active sports enthusiast who trains daily, kayaks, skis, hikes and weight trains.
