Debra Saltz
Associate
With broad experience in Maryland’s courts, Debra Saltz brings
substantial knowledge of civil litigation and criminal defense to
the Houlon Berman group. Before joining the firm, Debra served as
an Assistant Public Defender for Baltimore County and an Assistant
State’s Attorney for Howard County and spent several years
in private practice.
Debra graduated from Simmons College in Boston and received her
Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore. After graduating
from law school, Debra clerked for Chief Judge Joseph Murphy of
the Court of Special Appeals. She is a member of the Maryland State
Bar and several local bar associations. She is the current editor
of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association Newsletter.
When not practicing law, Debra enjoys traveling, reading, tennis,
and camping.
